Although the sun might temporarily be playing hide-and-seek, it certainly doesn’t stop us harping on about bikinis. We want to share with you all a great lust-over style that we adore for the summer season this year. So, whether you’re looking for a bandeau bikini, swimsuit or tankini, read on to find a sure win for your swimwear wardrobe.
White can be overlooked as a colour for swimwear, because of busy florals and nautical patterns that have been all over the beachwear style stakes recently. Don’t get us wrong – we love those busy prints, but it’s about time white had a chance to shine.
White is a fantastic colour that everyone can rock on the beach – regardless of shape, size and skin tone. It’s great for those who are already sporting a tan as it provides such a contrast in colour but at the same time it complements even the fairest of us all because it’s such a fresh and delicate look.
Bright white looks incredible paired with neutral tones such as wood – so opt for some wooden jewellery and tan sandals to take with you to the beach because it will look fabulous. Similarly, a bright injection of colour can really enhance how fresh white is. We’d recommend cobalt blue (it’ll go perfectly with the backdrop of the sea) for your choice of beach dress, or a lightweight printed scarf to wrap around your sun-kissed shoulders.
We’ve all seen and admired those pictures of Kate Middleton looking the image of perfection in her tiny white bikini, and if it’s good enough for a royal, it will most certainly do for us!
Nothing shouts stylish summer time quite like white beachwear, so don’t be afraid to wear an all-white bikini – its crisp colour will look gorgeous against your golden skin.
