This has to be the most flattering costume I've ever had (I'm 52). In fact I've bought another one for my friend in South Africa (going in March for 3 weeks) as they have nothing like it out there. Really wanted a one piece in which I could feel sufficiently covered but also reasonably attractive. I love the retro look of this swim dress. You can dress it up with big shades etc. but it is pretty chic just the way it is. Very pleased with it.

This cheaper suit is quite good value for money but the fabric is just a little bit cheap looking in that the band has a wide weave and the white is very bright. The rest of the suit's fabric is a little bit on the thin side. The white band isn't very practical and I imagined it after a day on the beach with close proximity to sun lotion so it didn't appear very practical. For me, it was this one or make do in terms of my budget for forthcoming holiday. I am a 12/14 dress size (easily fit size 12 East as a guide) and the band on size 14 for my 36" frame was a little too tight, causing flesh to ooze.... So this is why I sent it back.[...]

I have put over a stone on in the last year! So I wasn't feeling too great about swimwear. I ordered a size 14, which is what I used to be and want to be again, and it fits well, even though I am probably a size 16 with other swimsuits. It is very flattering and the skirt part looks lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone, but those who are not feeling too confident about their body image should definitely give it a go.
