Free Advice Organisations

StepChange is a free debt organisation who can help you get on top of your debts- whether that be advice or a debt management solution. If you'd like to get confidential and personalised online debt advice, use StepChange's 24/7 tool.
Money Wellness provide free, independent and impartial advice as well as solutions online or by telephone. If you're worried about money, reduced income or budgeting, Money Wellness may be able to help.
If you need someone to talk to, Samaritans listen. They won't judge or tell you what to do.

Why Contact Us

Contact us and we will help you find the best solution to bring your account back up to date and help control future charges. Examples of this can include:
  • Changing your method or date of payment if this will help you meet your repayments.
  • Assisting you to understand whether your financial difficulties are likely to be short or long term.
  • Giving you additional time to pay an overdue balance.
  • Agree a repayment plan with you for a reasonable period, dependent on your circumstances.
  • 'Signposting' sources of free and independent money and debt advice.

Solutions We Can Offer

Short term plan(Up to 6 months of reduced payments)
If your financial situation is likely to improve within 6 months, we can offer you a short term reduced payment plan. This may be in a situation such as short term reduced income or a large unexpected payment.
  • Payment amount must be above £0.
  • Length of the reduced payment plan must be 6 months or less.
  • You must make the monthly agreed payment on or before the payment date.
  • After the arrangement ends, your account will revert back and you will be required to make at least the minimum payment.

Longer term repayment plan(Reviewed after 6 months)
If you are experiencing temporary financial difficulties and cannot make your minimum payment, we can offer a longer-term repayment plan. In order to do this, we require you to fill in a budget form so that we can assess the affordability of this plan for you.
  • Repayment plans are reviewed after 6 months.
  • The completed budget form must indicate that you can afford the payment offered.
  • Minimum repayments of £5 per month can be accepted.
  • You must make the monthly agreed payment on or before the payment date.

  • We will discuss how your condition is affecting your ability to pay.
  • A Debt Management Company can offer you advice unique to your situation.
  • If we can offer help due to your condition, it will be specific to your situation.
  • You may need to provide medical evidence.
If you are suffering from a mental health condition, consider seeking help from charities such as mind.
Entering a financial difficulties solution will be reported to Credit Reference Agencies and may affect your credit score, but it is always best to be proactive with your finances when faced with financial difficulties.

You can adjust your monthly payments. As long as you pay at least your minimum amount, you can pay as much as you like.
